As a biostatistician, you'll leverage data to address these and numerous other pressing healthcare inquiries. What's more, you'll apply these insights to build a career in research, data governance, and statistical evaluation.
To start, we'll fully immerse you in statistical coursework. Your curriculum will include subjects like generalized linear models, statistical methodologies, theoretical statistics, and data handling with analysis. Following this, you'll enroll in pre-doctoral public health seminars and non-quantitative electives in disciplines such as biology or medical science. You'll also select from specialized electives concentrating on epidemiological research techniques and biostatistics topics. Prior to graduation, you'll undertake a non-thesis research initiative and defend it before an academic panel. Additionally, we'll provide opportunities for practical, experiential learning throughout your studies.
