The joint Public Health/Master of Business Administration (MBA) program is a collaboration between the UAB School of Public Health and the UAB Collat School of Business. This dual degree equips graduates for diverse opportunities in healthcare administration, business innovation, and executive roles.
Participants in this combined program obtain an MPH with a specialization in Population Health. This customizable track provides comprehensive public health training through core MPH coursework (grounded in Evidence-based Public Health principles), a hands-on internship, and a culminating capstone project. Learners can choose from various graduate-level Public Health courses (including subjects like healthcare finance, organizational strategy, and health legislation) to create a tailored academic plan aligned with their professional aspirations. Dedicated academic advisors help students craft their personalized course of study.

To apply, students must have at least a bachelor's degree. The GRE is not required for MPH applicants but may be required for admission into the MBA program.
