Alternative Class A Pathway (Non-traditional, Initial Teaching Certification)
The department also features an Alternative Class A option that doesn't demand previous teaching certification. This route grants Alabama Class A credentials in both Elementary Education (K-6) and Early Childhood (P-3), created to enable college graduates from non-education disciplines to transition into the teaching profession.

Qualification Requirements
