The curriculum adopts a contextual perspective, integrating insights from art, history, cultural studies, material studies, philosophy, and literature. A shared 15-credit core forms the foundation. Following two introductory survey courses, students opt for either the Research or Research/Studio track. Those aiming for art history graduate programs typically select the Research concentration, whereas students pursuing careers in galleries, exhibition design, or conservation often prefer Research/Studio.
