The LPHT Pathway caters to both aspiring and experienced public health professionals. Full-time participants can complete their degree in just 1.5 years, while part-time students have the flexibility to graduate within 2-5 years. This Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Jefferson develops graduates as Champions of Public Health Innovation, equipping them to drive meaningful change.
Those enrolled in the LPHT Pathway become pioneers in reshaping healthcare systems to improve population health across disciplines. The curriculum delivers comprehensive education that bridges biological, societal, environmental, economic, and contextual health determinants. This MPH track readies learners to confront urgent and evolving health challenges. JCPH facilitates the LPHT journey through adaptable scheduling and diverse enrichment programs, including daytime, evening, and online courses tailored for professionals. Supplementary offerings feature expert speaker sessions, academic discussion groups, and access to premier population health conferences. Pathway participants also undertake practical fieldwork and collaborate with mentors to develop personalized Capstone Projects addressing their specific interests.
The Public Health Practice (Generalist) concentration offers maximum elective flexibility, with academic guidance available to help align course selections with professional aspirations.
