The Global Health Certificate acknowledges a student's dedication and readiness for ongoing engagement and potential professional pursuits in global health. This credential showcases the student's specialized focus in global health and their capacity for interdisciplinary collaboration. While certificate requirements vary by academic field, they all prioritize subject-specific and cross-disciplinary studies or projects that enhance skills and foster comprehensive knowledge of global health challenges. To earn the certificate, students must complete INTH 301/401: Fundamentals of Global Health, take at least 2-3 supplementary courses addressing international or health topics, undertake a global health-related project, and successfully finish their major program. With faculty approval, students may replace the project requirement with additional coursework.
