The LPHT Pathway caters to both aspiring and experienced public health professionals. Full-time learners can complete their degree in just 1.5 years, while part-time students have 2-5 years to finish. Jefferson's Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited Master of Public Health (MPH) program develops Leaders in Public Health Transformation (LPHT) who graduate equipped to drive meaningful change.
LPHT Pathway participants spearhead initiatives to improve health outcomes across diverse sectors. The curriculum delivers comprehensive training that bridges biomedical, social, cultural, environmental, economic, and contextual health factors. This MPH pathway equips graduates to tackle urgent and evolving health challenges. JCPH facilitates the LPHT journey through adaptable scheduling and extensive enrichment opportunities, including evening, daytime, and online classes tailored for working professionals. Supplementary offerings feature lecture series, journal discussions, and access to prominent population health conferences. All LPHT students undertake practical field training and collaborate with faculty to develop a personalized Capstone Project addressing their specific interests.
The Public Health Analytics concentration enhances students' epidemiological and statistical skills through rigorous coursework, enabling them to effectively gather, process, interpret, and present health data.
