The Master of Architecture (M. Arch), our professional credential, serves as the flagship graduate program at Texas Tech, commencing exclusively in the fall semester. This program is designed for aspiring architects seeking licensure who hold an accredited bachelor's degree in architecture. Through collaboration with other academic units, the Rawls College of Business Administration provides opportunities to earn combined master's degrees alongside an MBA, reducing total credit requirements by 12 hours compared to pursuing them independently. Admission to both programs is mandatory before undertaking a dual degree path. The business college also offers Microsoft Office Excel Specialist certification. All MBA curricula follow a structured sequence—students should consult the MBA advisor for scheduling guidance. Under the established partnership, the business school recognizes 12 architecture credits toward the 42-hour MBA, while the architecture college accepts 6 business credits toward the 42-hour M.Arch. By completing 66 total credit hours, students can finish both degrees in two to three years.
