This program offers multiple specialization options. Based on their chosen focus area, students can either complete 30 graduate credit hours plus a thesis or 36 credit hours of coursework. Prospective students should consult the M.A. Degree Program Guide for Languages and Cultures, available through the graduate advisor or department office. Those pursuing the German concentration within the Master of Arts in Languages and Cultures have the choice between 30 graduate credit hours with a thesis or 36 credit hours without. Study areas encompass both classical and modern literature, applied linguistics, and cultural studies. Note: The German specialization is currently unavailable.
