Qualification Requirements
Applicants who have a degree in English should have at least a 3.2 grade point average in their upper-division undergraduate major coursework. In addition to applying to the University, prospective students must submit a separate graduate program application to the Department of English. This includes a departmental application form, transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, and a writing sample. Applicants to the graduate program are admitted based on a comprehensive review of their application materials by the Department of English.
