The anthropology graduate program offers comprehensive education for students aiming to pursue doctoral studies, teach at undergraduate or community college levels, or enter professions where a master's degree in anthropology is beneficial. The curriculum focuses on foundational theories and methodologies. Starting Fall 2015, our graduate program adopted a three-discipline framework, requiring core courses in ethnology, biological anthropology, and archaeology while allowing specialization through electives and thesis work. Students collaborate with their graduate advisor and relevant faculty to tailor their academic path, selecting courses and research topics aligned with their background, interests, and career goals.
