This program caters to students finishing their Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences with minors in Nutrition and Chemistry, who plan to advance to graduate studies in Nutritional Sciences. Applicants must complete specific undergraduate prerequisite courses, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and formally apply to the Nutritional Sciences department for consideration. The Nutrition minor mandates completing 9 credit hours of upper-level NS courses and 18 total undergraduate credit hours. Upon acceptance, students can enroll in 9 graduate-level Nutritional Sciences credits during their final undergraduate semester. These credits will count toward both their bachelor's degree requirements and the 31 credits needed for the Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences.
