The landscape architecture program aims to propel the field forward via cutting-edge education, research, and community engagement. Both the Bachelor's (B.L.A.) and Master's (M.L.A.) degrees hold accreditation from the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board. Through a carefully structured curriculum, students progressively develop into innovative leaders prepared for licensure and careers across public and private sectors. With a focus on semi-arid environments, the program addresses crucial design and planning challenges for creating sustainable, resilient ecosystems amid expanding urban areas. During their third year, students spend spring and summer terms off-campus - either completing an extended internship (January-August) or combining international study with a three-month professional placement. The accelerated M.L.A. track enables current undergraduates to earn their master's degree just one year after completing their bachelor's.
