The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art cultivates visually skilled artists by providing comprehensive training in conceptual, technical, historical, and professional dimensions of visual arts through diverse studio and academic coursework. Our Studio Art curriculum features seven specialized disciplines, offering exceptional learning opportunities in Ceramics, Drawing, Expanded Media, Metals, Painting, Printmaking, and Sculpture. These disciplines serve as platforms to connect students' artistic exploration with other creative interests and mediums across the Studio program. The B.F.A. program concludes with a culminating Thesis course, final Thesis Portfolio, and a B.F.A. Thesis Exhibition. Designed to accommodate varied student interests, the program equips graduates for professional artistic careers and arts-related professions. The School of Art and Design promotes creative and scholarly work that enhances students' conceptual and technical skills while fostering strong visual communication foundations.
