The Early Childhood Program provides a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused on early childhood education, tailored to support educators' professional growth.
As the central hub for Educator Preparation at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Department of Teacher and Bilingual Education oversees all certification pathways across the university. Both undergraduate and graduate certification routes are coordinated through the College of Education and Human Performance, managed by this department alongside the Center for Educator Preparation Services.
Our department features five distinct master's degree options and pioneered the country's first doctoral program in Bilingual Education. Key strengths include our exceptional faculty who foster supportive learning environments through in-person, hybrid, and online instruction. We operate the King Ranch Early Childhood Center and have hosted the Annual Bilingual Education Conference continuously since 1975 (spanning 44 years).
