The Master's and Certification (MAC) Program enables you to pursue dual objectives concurrently: obtaining educator certification while earning a master's degree in Secondary Education. Classes are available in evening sessions, online formats, or a combination of both, offering flexibility for full-time professionals. This program is ideal for individuals pursuing initial Teacher Certification for Grades 7-12 or EC-Grade 12. The required competencies focus on Graduate Level Initial Certification. Commonly known as the MAC program, it helps participants: Create instructional materials and evaluations to enhance student learning. Demonstrate strategies for fostering a supportive classroom environment. Develop and apply responsive teaching and assessment methods. Understand and fulfill professional teaching responsibilities. Conduct action research projects that apply program-acquired content knowledge and teaching strategies to improve classroom practice.
