The Water Management and Hydrological Science (WMHS) graduate program, guided by a cross-disciplinary faculty from multiple departments and colleges, provides two master's degree options (thesis and non-thesis) along with a Ph.D. The program structure enables students to emerge as leaders in their chosen field while fostering collaborations with peers in complementary disciplines.
The Master of Water Management and Hydrological Science (MWM) is a non-thesis program tailored for professionals pursuing careers in the vital field of water resource management. It focuses on strengthening analytical and leadership capabilities by integrating technical and administrative approaches. The curriculum blends concepts from economics, engineering, policy analysis, and management, concluding with a comprehensive final assessment. This framework equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to drive progress in global water quality and quantity management.
Our goal is to educate future water specialists, hydrologists, and administrators through academic instruction and research that enhances water resource sustainability for societal benefit. Faculty and researchers in the Water Management and Hydrological Science program dedicate themselves to pioneering studies that serve public interests, uphold rigorous academic standards, and expand knowledge in hydrology, water utilization, and resource governance.
