This program equips students with advanced specialized training to prepare them for technical roles in industry or PhD programs in science and engineering. Participants enhance their knowledge through rigorous coursework covering fundamental MSEN subjects like thermodynamics, kinetics, solid-state physics, and materials mechanical behavior. Additionally, students expand their expertise by attending seminars and taking specialized MSEN courses. The M.S. program offers flexibility with both thesis (research-focused) and non-thesis (course-focused) degree paths. Thesis-track students collaborate with faculty advisors to create research proposals and complete oral defenses and presentations of their work.
