The call for principled leaders with strong moral values in government and public service has never been more urgent. In today's climate, expectations for transparency and ethical conduct have risen significantly and show no signs of decreasing.
The MPSA program cultivates ethical leaders for government and nonprofit organizations, equipping students with essential skills and understanding to navigate complex challenges while maintaining high standards of integrity in an era of growing demands on public officials.
The Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) is a two-year graduate program comprising 48 credit hours. Candidates lacking significant work experience must undertake a summer internship between academic years, which doesn't count toward degree credits. The program features ten core courses that build foundational expertise in management, leadership, policy evaluation, and research methodologies. This educational journey concludes with a Capstone project during the final year, allowing students to tackle authentic policy challenges. While some elective courses are available online, students can complete the entire program through in-person instruction.
