The call for principled leaders with strong moral values in government and public service has never been more urgent. In today's climate of heightened scrutiny, expectations for transparency and ethical conduct continue to rise with no signs of slowing down. The MPSA program cultivates morally grounded leaders for government and nonprofit organizations, equipping students with essential skills and understanding to navigate complex ethical dilemmas while addressing contemporary public service challenges.
The Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) is a two-year graduate program comprising 48 credit hours. Candidates lacking significant work experience must fulfill a non-credit internship during the summer between academic years. The program features a foundational core of ten mandatory courses covering critical competencies in management, leadership, policy evaluation, and research methodologies. This educational journey concludes with a second-year Capstone project, allowing students to tackle authentic organizational challenges. While some elective courses are available online, students may complete the entire degree through in-person instruction.
