The Materials Science and Engineering Department provides a Certificate in Materials, Informatics and Design, which involves finishing six courses totaling 15 credit hours.
This certificate program responds to the growing demand for innovative methods in speeding up material discovery and development to tackle 21st-century challenges in areas like energy, healthcare, national security, and environmental concerns.
