The second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) track, offered at the Round Rock campus, is an intensive 15-month program spanning four semesters. Designed for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in a non-nursing discipline, this accelerated pathway requires completion of about 59 credit hours in prerequisite courses covering humanities, biological sciences, physical sciences, and behavioral sciences if these weren't fulfilled during the initial degree. These preparatory courses can be taken at any accredited college or university. The curriculum combines in-person teaching with simulation exercises, clinical practice, collaborative instruction, and live-streamed lectures. Enrolled students are based at the Round Rock campus for all academic activities, including classes, simulation labs, and clinical placements throughout the program. In compliance with Texas Board of Nursing policies regarding clinical rotations, the College of Nursing prohibits transfers between campuses during the program.
