Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from an AACSB-accredited accounting program (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) equips students with foundational skills for diverse career paths with strong advancement potential. This undergraduate program delivers the essential qualifications needed to launch most accounting professions. Note that in Texas, the BBA alone doesn't fulfill the educational prerequisites for CPA exam eligibility.
Public accounting firms hiring many graduates offer assurance, tax, and advisory services across various industries. Alternatively, accounting professionals find opportunities in corporate settings, banking institutions, government agencies at all levels, and academic roles as educators.
