The Shidler College of Business School of Accountancy (SOA) provides a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program specializing in Accounting. The initial two years primarily focus on fulfilling the University of Hawaii at Mānoa's general education prerequisites. In the final two years, approximately half the time is allocated to comprehensive business studies, while the remaining half concentrates on specialized Accounting courses. This undergraduate accounting program aims to equip students with a strong academic foundation for diverse accounting career paths and prepares them for further graduate or professional studies. The accounting field consists of two primary sectors: public accounting and other accounting-related positions.
