The Master of Education program offers graduate-level training for certified teachers or those who've earned a bachelor's degree and are pursuing teaching credentials. Grounded in the College of Education's core principles, this program develops skilled, compassionate educators equipped to serve diverse student populations.
To earn the Master of Education degree and initial certification, students must complete at least 33 graduate-level credit hours, pass comprehensive exams covering general and secondary education topics, achieve satisfactory scores on all Praxis tests, and obtain a minimum edTPA portfolio score of 42 before degree conferral.
