The Master of Fine Arts in Film and Media Arts program equips socially conscious, creatively ambitious students for professional success in film, video, and digital media. This program embraces diverse media forms while focusing particularly on independent film and video production that combines artistic vision with social awareness, guided by accomplished scholars and industry professionals. The curriculum highlights modern documentary filmmaking, independent storytelling, video art and installations, plus evolving media technologies. This 54-credit graduate program, with its focus on independent productions, cultivates the expertise needed to become a perceptive, socially engaged media creator working in film, video or digital formats.
