Pursue excellence as a professional musician and train to teach high-level performing arts through Temple's Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Performance at Boyer College. DMA graduates in Performance go on to teach at universities, perform with global ensembles, and instruct in private studios.
The D.M.A. in Historical Keyboard Performance program aims to cultivate the highest level of musical expression through refined performance practice. Guided by expert faculty, students develop professional expertise, training, and experience in performing solo and ensemble works on period keyboard instruments. The curriculum covers repertoire spanning from around 1500 to contemporary compositions.
