Program Objectives
Graduates of the UNLV School of Music's Doctor of Musical Arts program will:
Exhibit exceptional performance or conducting abilities in their chosen specialization, meeting professional standards.
Apply historical and theoretical knowledge to develop unique interpretations across diverse musical styles.
Show extensive familiarity with their instrument's or conducting field's history, along with mastery of its specialized repertoire.
Possess research proficiency in music bibliography and demonstrate the capability to effectively present and defend scholarly work within their discipline.
