Temple University's Mathematics Department boasts a diverse range of theoretical and applied mathematical research conducted by renowned faculty members. This department plays a pivotal role in delivering, enhancing, and supporting mathematical education across all university levels. The College of Science and Technology offers an accelerated five-year dual degree program combining a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mathematics. Mathematics majors pursuing the B.S. degree are eligible to apply for this program. Students must submit their application to the department's graduate chair before the start of their senior year. Admission to the M.S. program requires maintaining a minimum 3.25 GPA in Mathematics courses at the time of application.
