They explore diverse topics, from local government proceedings and campaign rallies to entertainment, athletics, and global traditions. Whether you aim to produce digital content, report on world affairs, or broadcast from polling centers, Klein College prepares you to deliver precise, compelling stories while using Philadelphia as your training ground. Temple University's BA in Journalism features foundational courses that equip graduates with versatile abilities, spanning news writing, multimedia storytelling, and introductory digital design. After mastering core competencies, you can specialize in your preferred medium or sample different program offerings. Grounded in liberal arts, Temple's Journalism curriculum requires cross-disciplinary coursework to cultivate the well-rounded expertise needed for thoughtful, trustworthy reporting in modern media. The International Communication Concentration (ICC) blends theory and practice in global and cross-cultural media studies. This track helps students build valuable cultural awareness and communication abilities by examining their own perspectives. ICC participants engage with worldwide viewpoints through internationally-focused classes at Temple's campuses, with opportunities to enhance their learning through study abroad programs.
