The Master of Science program in Higher Education equips graduates to drive transformation and implement essential improvements across academic, student affairs, and administrative roles in higher education institutions.
Offered by the Department of Higher Education, this program extends beyond foundational student affairs training to encompass wider institutional policies and comprehensive knowledge of postsecondary education systems. Participants explore higher education frameworks, professional networks, faculty dynamics, campus collaborations, and strategies for enhancing student growth. You'll also acquire expertise in the historical, philosophical, and legal aspects of higher education necessary for creating inclusive policies that serve diverse student populations. The curriculum meets the standards set by the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education, ACPA College Student Educators International, and NASPA Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
Important notice: The Higher Education M.S. program is currently open only to part-time applicants for fall 2020 enrollment. Those seeking full-time study should consider applying for fall 2021.
Earn your degree in two years through full-time study, or pursue part-time options while maintaining your professional commitments in higher education.
