The Master of Music in Voice Pedagogy program is provided by the Setnor School of Music within Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts. This graduate degree equips students holding a bachelor's degree in vocal music to become professional voice educators, whether in academic institutions or private studios. The curriculum transforms vocalists into skilled singing instructors while advancing their personal vocal growth through comprehensive studies in pedagogy, teaching methodologies, vocal literature, pronunciation techniques, career strategies, vocal training, stage performance, and practical teaching opportunities. Students also benefit from cutting-edge voice science laboratory resources and partnership opportunities with the Gebbie Speech Clinic under the College of Arts & Sciences' Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.
