The Artist Diploma is a two-year certification program designed for highly skilled, up-and-coming musicians seeking advanced training in performance after completing their bachelor's degree. The curriculum focuses on one-on-one lessons, recital presentations, and group performances, with flexibility for students to choose elective courses that align with their individual aspirations and experience. Acceptance into the program primarily depends on demonstrated performance skills evaluated through demanding in-person auditions. This diploma is available for specialization in: brass instruments, woodwinds, string instruments, percussion, guitar, vocal performance, jazz studies, piano, and instrumental conducting.

Qualification Requirements
A baccalaureate music degree from a domestic accredited college, university, or conservatory, or equivalent if foreign student (equivalency to be determined by Admissions and Records).Be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended.
Official Transcripts are required from the university where the bachelor's degree is earned. Submit a word-for-word certified English translation along with the Official original-language transcripts.
Have earned a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.5 from the last degree completed by the candidate or have attained a grade-point average of at least 2.5 (A=4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted.
A minimum 2.5 G.P.A. in the last 60 units attempted.
For those applicants who hold no degrees from an English-language based institution, a minimum score of 500 on the paper-based TOEFL exam or 61 on the Internet TOEFL (NOTE: 550 paper / 80 Internet TOEFL is required for students choosing to enroll in 500-level graduate seminars for elective units).
