The Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) program in studio arts fosters creative exploration in developing groundbreaking approaches to artistic practice.
Our M.F.A. program connects faculty and students to collaboratively engage in contemporary art-making and dialogue through workshops, studio sessions with renowned visiting artists from around the world, accomplished professors, interdisciplinary critiques, and Syracuse University's wide-ranging academic offerings.
As an art institution embedded within a major research university, we prioritize pioneering methods in artistic creation. With both two-year and three-year track options, our program allows students to specialize in one of our acclaimed disciplines or blend multiple fields, empowering graduate students to tailor their studies to their unique creative objectives.

Describe in approximately 500 words your main academic interests, why you wish to study for the degree you have chosen, why you wish to study at Syracuse University, how you expect to finance your studies, and your plans for the future after you receive your degree.
