The philosophy graduate program provides instruction in fundamental aspects of Anglo-American philosophical traditions. Students can explore the works of influential historical philosophers such as Plato, Aristotle, Hume, Leibniz, Spinoza, Descartes, and Kant. The department emphasizes that all students should engage with philosophy's historical foundations, regardless of their primary academic focus. This curriculum equips graduates for careers in philosophical education and research.
