The C.A.S. program in Educational Technology equips students with core knowledge about how educators and learners utilize instructional systems, learning platforms, and performance enhancement technologies.
Offered through the Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation Department, this program prepares teachers, trainers, and professionals to deliver impactful instruction using educational technologies across both physical classrooms and digital learning environments. Careers in digital education, performance assessment, and learning technologies rank among the most rapidly expanding fields in the U.S. Through practical projects and teamwork, you'll gain expertise in developing, implementing, and assessing technology-enhanced learning solutions for diverse educational and workplace contexts.
The Educational Technology certificate consists of 15 graduate-level credits. Students complete a mandatory 12-credit core curriculum (4 courses) plus one specialized elective aligned with their professional goals. The program culminates with creating a digital portfolio showcasing your projects and insights gained throughout the learning journey.
