For those holding a bachelor's degree in science or a similar discipline who aspire to teach science to middle and high school students (grades 5-12), our science education graduate program is the ideal choice. Iowa State University's School of Education provides a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in science education via our Educator Preparation Program, specifically tailored for candidates with an existing undergraduate science background. This pathway culminates in licensure endorsement.
