This Master of Science program prepares students for teaching licensure in their selected specialization and accepts applicants with exceptional qualifications holding a bachelor's degree (B.A., B.F.A., or B.S.). The curriculum focuses on intensive study within specified licensure tracks, including secondary education (grades 7-12), comprehensive age ranges (P-12), vocational family and consumer sciences (grades 4-12), and special education (P-3 or K-12). The graduate program awards a Master of Science degree that qualifies candidates for teaching certification in their chosen discipline, available to outstanding bachelor's degree holders. Students engage in focused coursework aligned with secondary education licensure (grades 7-12). All educator preparation programs mandate completion of a full-semester student teaching practicum.
