During your Master of Science in Plant, Soil, and Agricultural Systems, your coursework will be tailored yet adaptable to support your unique career goals. Our program offers diverse pathways to prepare you for the many fulfilling opportunities available after graduation.
The graduate program features three specialized tracks:
Crop Science: Perfect for those pursuing research in crop cultivation, farm management, precision agriculture, weed and pest management, or plant genetics and biotechnology.
Soil Science: This concentration explores soil fertility, physical properties, microbial life, chemical processes, and conservation of soil and water resources.
Horticultural Science: Students can focus on landscape architecture, vegetable and fruit production, ornamental plants, tissue culture techniques, grape cultivation, or turfgrass management.
Each concentration can be enhanced with an environmental studies in agriculture focus. For aspiring educators, we provide supplementary coursework in agricultural instruction and technology for both secondary and higher education settings.
