The doctoral program equips students to autonomously investigate and solve complex challenges in oceanography and atmospheric science. The curriculum begins with foundational core courses (shared with master's students), then enables learners to customize their advanced studies, fostering independent problem-solving skills. This Marine and Atmospheric Sciences doctorate prepares graduates to pursue academic careers, lead research initiatives at government or private institutions, and manage scientific programs at NGOs. Applicants can enter the Ph.D. track without holding a master's degree, with most candidates finishing their doctorate within 5-6 years.
