Philosophy explores core questions while analyzing how historical scholars have sought to comprehend existence and human perception. Philosophy focuses on essential inquiries. Some involve abstract concepts like truth, morality, worth, and cognition, while others are practical, potentially informing behavior or deepening insights into various disciplines. Philosophy also investigates how earlier intellectuals attempted to interpret reality and human encounters. Philosophy addresses fundamental issues. Certain aspects are theoretical, concerning the essence of veracity, fairness, meaning, and awareness, while others are tangible, with their examination possibly directing actions or enriching comprehension of different fields. Philosophy additionally studies historical attempts to grasp the universe and humanity's interaction with it.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
