The Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies with a Korea concentration enables students to explore East Asian cultures while specializing in Korean studies. This undergraduate program aims to immerse students in Korean language, history, and cultural traditions through comprehensive instruction in writing, communication, literary studies, and societal development. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
