The program equips students with specialized training for careers in cardiovascular medicine, focusing on the Invasive Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Participants will develop expertise in advanced cardiac techniques such as Percutaneous Transcatheter Coronary Angiography (PTCA), Peripheral Coronary Interventions (PCI), Electrophysiology studies, Peripheral Vascular Angiography/Interventions, Hemodynamic Cardiac Pressure Monitoring, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Upon completion, graduates are eligible to take the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification exam administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). The Invasive Cardiovascular Technology (ICVT) Program holds national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Our mission is to cultivate skilled technologists and emerging leaders in the field of cardiovascular care.
