The Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences with a Nuclear Medicine specialization mandates completion of prerequisite coursework before enrollment. Once admitted, students undertake an intensive 14-month program combining academic instruction and hands-on clinical experience. This comprehensive training equips students with the expertise to conduct advanced diagnostic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals both in vitro and in vivo, employing cutting-edge nuclear medicine technology. After successfully finishing both the academic and clinical components, graduates qualify to take the national certification exams offered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

This program trains individuals to deliver prescribed radiation treatments, care for patients undergoing therapy, and maintain accurate treatment records. The curriculum covers applied anatomy, cancer pathology, radiation biology, treatment protocols, dosage calculation, tumor identification, therapy planning, patient interaction, data management, documentation practices, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
