Actuaries are experts who apply advanced mathematical abilities to assess and quantify risk. Evaluating risk enables insurers to offer protection for diverse potential losses, from property damage like a fallen tree to major incidents such as failed space missions or maritime disasters. Risk assessment is equally crucial for governments to effectively administer social programs and insure against large-scale threats like natural disasters. The curriculum includes 10 courses totaling 30 credits, achievable within a year and a half for full-time learners. Through tailored career guidance, an extensive alumni community, industry speaker events, professional mixers, and biannual specialized job fairs, our students effectively secure internships and employment. Alumni have established careers in areas including organizational risk strategy, corporate insurance solutions, commercial risk assessment, claims processing, advisory services, and actuarial science.
