The Marketing Department at The Peter J. Tobin College of Business equips students with career-ready skills through comprehensive marketing education. Our faculty brings diverse expertise spanning academia, research, consulting, and corporate experience. Program alumni have secured positions across various sectors including financial services, retail, manufacturing, sports and entertainment, as well as government and nonprofit fields.
The undergraduate Marketing curriculum develops students for marketing management and specialist roles. The program teaches fundamental marketing concepts and practical skills for today's business landscape. Key competencies include strategic planning, product development, pricing strategies, distribution channels, advertising, promotional tactics, and market research. Courses highlight how cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors influence both domestic and international markets.
