The Department of Biological Sciences provides a flexible curriculum that enables students to tailor their education for various career paths in research, corporate, and public sectors, along with specialized training for graduate and professional programs. Students can explore multiple disciplines such as health sciences, cellular biology, molecular studies, biotech applications, genetic research, microbial science, anatomical functions, physiological systems, environmental ecology, evolutionary studies, wildlife conservation, and biodiversity management.
Our department's primary goal is to intellectually stimulate students while delivering a well-rounded education in life sciences. We emphasize close collaboration between students and professors, with all faculty members conducting active research that allows both undergraduate and graduate students to contribute to innovative and continuing projects.
