The Philosophy Department provides an extensive selection of graduate-level courses across key philosophical disciplines, culminating in both M.A. and Ph.D. programs. Our curriculum embraces diverse intellectual traditions and methodological approaches, avoiding dominance by any single philosophical school. With faculty expertise spanning multiple specializations, students encounter various philosophical perspectives while focusing on their chosen research areas. Complementary graduate courses in related disciplines—including natural/social sciences, arts, linguistics, legal studies, and gender studies—enhance the philosophy program. The Ph.D. curriculum specifically prepares graduates for academic careers and specialized research. Candidates must meet all outlined requirements to earn their doctoral degree.
