The agricultural education major is designed for those aspiring to teach agriculture in academic environments. SAU offers cutting-edge facilities for students pursuing this major. Following general education coursework, the program emphasizes specialized classes in both agriculture and teaching disciplines. Enrollment in the Teacher Education Program is mandatory.
Graduates fulfilling all degree criteria will receive a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education. This qualification enables graduates to satisfy Arkansas' teaching certification standards.

Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all the incoming freshmen students.
Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)
A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS
A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo
