The music program equips students with the expertise to excel as skilled musicians, music instructors, and versatile performers, fostering both technical abilities and musical understanding. The music education track specifically readies students for teaching roles within public school environments.
Alumni from our program showcase comprehension of music's fundamental components and structures, applying this knowledge through auditory, verbal, written, and visual evaluation. They exhibit foundational awareness of music history, diverse performance practices, and repertoire spanning to contemporary works.
Our graduates can integrate music theory and historical context when adapting compositions, creating basic arrangements, and improvising. They utilize digital tools and online resources to enhance their grasp of musical concepts, arrangement techniques, and performance abilities while developing comprehensive musical knowledge and competencies.
Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all the incoming freshmen students.
Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)
A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS
A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo
